Hello! So I guess this is going to be my first written blog post for this class. My name is Allison Mlcoch, I know you can't pronounce that last name, don't worry because nobody can. It is pronounced ML-O-K-A, or basically like Moca, the drink you get at your local Starbucks. Not a lot of people like to say the L in there so just call me Moka haha. This last name actually comes from Czech Republic, which is where me and my family are from. My parents came to the U.S. at 19, which gives me until October 28th, and I will be their age when they move here. Crazy how time flies. Anyways, to add some fun facts, my whole family is indeed European. My whole family also lives in Europe, so I don't know what it's like to have a family reunion or what it's like to have my grandparents over for dinner. That totally doesn't bother me though, since I get to visit them once a year and have dinner in Czech instead. So that's a bit of my life background! another interestin...
